Robert continues to see private clients. Private sessions are 3 hours and $300, focused primarily on common pain-related concerns, movement, and mobility rather than conventional relaxation massage. Appointments are arranged personally by text or email; there is no public online booking calendar.
Hand and wrist pain can affect everything from typing and using a phone to gripping, lifting, driving, and sleeping comfortably. Although symptoms may be felt primarily in the hand or wrist, tension, sensitivity, and restricted movement through the forearm, elbow, shoulder, and neck can also influence how you feel.
My approach to hand and wrist pain relief in Austin looks at the bigger picture. Rather than simply working where you feel the pain, I look at how your hands, wrists, forearms, arms, shoulders, and surrounding areas work together. The goal is to find what changes your symptoms and build a practical approach around what actually helps you move and feel better.
WHY HAND AND WRIST PAIN CAN BE DIFFICULT TO SOLVE
Hand and wrist symptoms don’t always tell us exactly what may be contributing to the problem. Pain, aching, tingling, numbness, or weakness can involve the hand and wrist, while the forearm, elbow, shoulder, neck, repetitive activity, and movement habits may also influence how you feel.
That’s why repeatedly working only where the symptoms are felt may not address the larger pattern and pain relief. I look at how the surrounding areas move and respond, then use a combination of targeted hands-on work, movement, stretching, and self-care strategies based on what I find.
MY APPROACH TO HAND AND WRIST PAIN RELIEF IN AUSTIN
I don’t use the same routine for every person seeking hand and wrist pain relief in Austin. I look at how you move, where you’re restricted, what aggravates your symptoms, and how your hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, shoulders, neck, and surrounding areas may be contributing.
A session may combine targeted hands-on work, stretching, movement, positioning, and self-care strategies. The goal isn’t simply to make your hand or wrist feel better for a few hours. It’s to identify useful changes that help you move more comfortably and give you practical ways to manage the problem outside of a session.
WHAT A HAND AND WRIST PAIN SESSION MAY INCLUDE
Depending on what I find, we may work with the hands and wrists as well as the forearms, elbows, upper arms, shoulders, neck, and other areas that influence how you move and feel. Sessions can include hands-on pain relief work, assisted stretching, movement, positioning, and techniques designed to improve comfort and mobility.
I also teach you what you can do on your own. That may include simple stretches, movement strategies, or self-care techniques you can use between sessions. My goal is not to make you dependent on appointments—it’s to help you understand your body and have more options for managing your hand and wrist symptoms.
WHAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO HAND AND WRIST PAIN?
Hand and wrist pain can have more than one contributing factor. Repetitive typing, gripping, tool use, prolonged computer work, previous injuries, and restricted movement or tension through the forearms and arms can all influence how the hands and wrists feel.
That’s why I don’t assume the painful or tingling area is the only place that deserves attention. I look at how your hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, shoulders, and neck work together. The goal is to identify patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms and find practical ways to help you move and use your hands more comfortably.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOUR HAND AND WRIST PAIN?
This approach may be a good fit if you’ve been dealing with recurring hand or wrist pain, aching, stiffness, tingling, numbness, discomfort with gripping or typing, or symptoms that seem connected with repetitive activity or tension through your forearms and arms.
I work with people who want to understand what may be contributing to their symptoms and take an active role in improving how they feel and move. Because numbness, tingling, or weakness can have different causes, symptoms that are severe, worsening, or unexplained should be medically evaluated. If you’re unsure whether your situation is appropriate for this type of work, you’re welcome to contact me before booking.
